Labour Bridges for Reconciliation

The Labour Bridges for Reconciliation project seeks to bring together Ibero-American communities around the centrality of work as a driving force for inclusion, reconciliation, care for Our Common Home, and social justice. Inspired by the synodal principle of “walking together,” this Bridge connects ecclesial, secular, governmental networks and international organizations in order to generate social dialogue processes that transcend borders and promote joint action.

The Labour Bridges for Reconciliation propose transforming work into a privileged space for rebuilding social trust, healing historical wounds, and organizing hope. In this way, the world of work is understood not only as a site of economic production, but also as a space of fraternity, integration, and shared commitment to the common future of our peoples.

ACTIVITIES

Fratelli Tutti Synodal Encounters

The Fratelli Tutti Synodal Encounters are conceived as spaces of listening, discernment, and consensus-building.

More than isolated events, they are milestones within a process of successive stages unfolding over time and across different territories. These encounters constitute the core methodology of the project: dialogue tables where trade unions, business representatives, popular movements, episcopal conferences, and international organizations come together in a dynamic that combines critical reflection with pastoral action.
